Today, May 1, at the 60th GNB Memorial Day when the life and music of maestro G N Balasubramaniam ( fondly called GNB) will be celebrated, his senior sishya, vidwan Trichur V. Ramachandran will speak on ‘The Maverick Genius Maestro – GNB’.
Subashree Ramachandran will sing a few GNB songs, from Carnatic music as well as from cinema. Some vintage GNB songs will also be played.
At the mini hall of Narada Gana Sabha, Alwarpet. Open to all. Starts 6 p.m.
