The annual Vasant Utsav festival of dance is on now at Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple.
Organised by Saraswathi Educational Cultural and Charitable Trust headed by former IAS officer C K Gariyali, the solo / group classical dance concerts, which began on May 1 will go on till May 11.
Every evening, two dance troupes perform at the Navaratri Mantapam inside the temple. ( There will be no concerts on May 10 due to pradosham in the temple.)
The dancers of city-based Devaniya School of Kathak will provide the finale on May 11, at about 7 p.m; with their dance recital.
Open to all.
