Volunteers of Nandalala Centre offer buttermilk to thirsty, even to MTC commuters

It may have rained and drizzled this May, but the heat and sultriness of summer is not going away. And people on the road are thirsty.
A few individuals and religious/social Institutions  offer cold water or buttermilk to the passers by on Mylapore’s key roads
Volunteers at the Nandalala Centre  at the east end of Dr Ranga Road offer buttermilk every morning. They even step out of the stall to offer the cooler.
This Monday morning, a MTC bus plying here stopped for a minute so that
commuters could be offered buttermilk by the Nandalala volunteers.
The driver was patient and allowed some commuters to refresh.
