Sonali Chatterjee and Arshika Manoj were elected School Pupil Leader ( SPL) and Assistant SPL of Rosary Matric Higher Secondary School, San Thome on June 12.
Sonali is a student of Class 11 and Arshika is in Class 9.
The two girls were formally presented as leaders in the school quadrangle and given sashes and crowned by school headmistress Sister Venci Sahayarani.
Earlier, as is the Rosary tradition held at the top of a new academic year, a snappy election campaign was held on campus covering senior students and polling held.
The formal investiture ceremony will be held soon.
