Here are two Carnatic music events of note at Arkay Centre, Luz.
On Friday, June 6/ 6.15pm

Madhuradhwani hosts 250th jayanthi of Dikshitar – a curated session to appreciate the musical compositions of Muthuswamy Dikshtar
Presented by Ravi Rajagoplan with Amritha Murali
Madan Mohan – Violin; S Hariharan – Mridangam

On Saturday, June 7 / 6.15pm

Madhuradhwani presents Ekaika Raga Kritis of saint Thayarajaswamy
Tyagaraja is one of the vaggeyakaras, who has composed a maximum number of kritis in rare and uncommon ragas. 

They are called eka-raga kritis. These eka-raga kritis of Tyagaraja are the main source for artistes / rasikas to recognise the sancharas of these rare ragas.
Madhuradhwani plans a series of monthly concerts based on these kritis
The inaugural concert is by vidushi A Kanyakumari – violin with
Srikanth and Siva Teja on violin; N C Bharadwaj – mridangam
K V Gopalakrishnan – kanjira
The guest of honour for this event is Dr T V Gopalakrishnan
