Students of Carnatic music maestro – violinist M. S. Gopalakrishnan got up an event that marked his 94th birth anniversary.
The event was held on Saturday, June 14, 6 p.m at Srinivasa Sastri Hall, Luz.
It began with an audio-visual presentation in which clips of MSG’s vintage concerts were played.
This was followed by a violin concert by Charumati Raghuraman with Ananta R. Krishnan on mridangam.
A number of rasikas besides the late maestro’s sishyas participated.
