C. R. Balaji, a.resident of Norton 1st Street, Mandaveli and a community activist had recently e-mailed departments of the state and TASMAC’s managing director, requesting that the TASMAC shop that sells liquor near the MTC bus terminus in Mandaveli be closed since it is a cause of nuisance in this area.
Balaji says that his letter-mail has been forwarded by the joint secretary in charge of Home and Prohibition department of the state to the MD of TASMAC.
