There was a steady stream of devotees, mostly women into Sri Mundagakanni Amman Temple, Mylapore on Friday, July 18 since it marked the first Friday of the new aadi season.
People prayed, made offerings and some sat down to cook their offering for the day, alongside the temple premises.
