The Dementia Care Foundation (TDCF) is a non-profit organisation based in OMR,
Chennai, dedicated to providing quality care for elders living with dementia.
It is organising a free cognitive screening camp in Mylapore on Aug.2, 10am to 4 pm.
TDCF focuses on building sustainable models of care by promoting a psychosocial
approach that complements the medical model—together aiming to enhance the
quality of life for both elders and their families.
This camp is designed to provide early screening for memory, attention, and other cognitive functions..
The centre’s goal is to facilitate early identification of cognitive difficulties, which is crucial in managing conditions like dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and age-related memory concerns.
Screenings will be conducted by trained psychologists, and all participants will receive a free, one-on-one consultation-to discuss the results and potential next steps.
No prior registration is required. Walk-ins are welcome throughout the day.
