Sangeetha’s 40th anniversary celebrations includes its special lunch that its restaurants across the city will offer now; in turns.
This July 9 afternoon, the Sangeetha in R. A. Puram welcomed guests just after 11 a.m. to its air-conditioned space off Kamaraj Salai and laid the meal out on a banana leaf for every guest who paid the amount for a wholesome meal.
Well managed. Orderly. Well organised. These were the feedback comments from people who sat for the lunch and all of them seemed to have enjoyed the helpings, though limited.
Sangeetha had planned for the big turnout; they had extra hands, all dressed in the milestone brand T-shirt, seating, serving and heeding to calls.
Sangeetha’s owner P. Rajagopal was at the event and exchanged pleasantries with his customers. Police bandobust was provided since the crowd began to swell past noon
On July 15 at the Mylapore space, on July 17 at Pattinapakkam. 11 am to 4 p.m. is when the Rs.40 for a meal offer is on.
