The annual Pallavi Darbar music festival of Carnatica Global and Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha starts today, July 2 and goes on till July 6 at Srinivasa Sastri Hall, Luz.
The focus of the festival is on the pallavi in Carnatic music.
The fest opens with a presentation by vidwan Arun Prakash at 4.45 p.m., a formal inauguration follows when artiste Manda Sudha Rani will be honoured; and at 7.15 p.m, is a concert by Bharat Sundar.
Sunil Garhyan ( July 3), Ashwath Narayan ( July 4), Amrutha Venkatesh ( July 5) and Ramana Balachandran – veena- and Kunnakudi Balamuralikrishna are some of the key artistes who will perform at this fest.
