Vidya Mandir school celebrated its Annual Day on August 21 at Narada Gana Sabha, a milestone event as the school marks its 70th year.
With ‘Righteousness’ as the theme, the evening featured a concert by an orchestra, multilingual plays in English, Tamil, Sanskrit, and Hindi, and a vibrant dance drama.
The major events were alternated with fillers where students in small groups displayed their music talents in terms of singing and playing different instruments.
A highlight of the celebration was the release of Mandir Notes, a commemorative notepad with pencil sketches of Vidya Mandir’s cherished landmarks.
“This annual day was a proud occasion where our students displayed their creativity and talent with enthusiasm,'” said school principal S H Kanchanamala .
