A Navarathri Sangeethosthsavam is to be held from Sept. 26 to 28,at Srinivasa Sastri Hall, Mylapore in remembrance of Kalyanam Visveswaran.
This is launch fest is curated with medley of concerts to be performed by both celebrated
and upcoming of artistes in the three days.
The inaugural concert is by Sunil Gargyan.
On the second day, the duo of Kandadevi Brothers, Mukund Sai and Krishna Sai will perform.
Their concert will be followed by a flute recital by the third generation
musician from the reputed family of Belakavadis, L V Mukund the direct disciple of
the great maestro N. Ramani.
On the third day, there is a dance performance by the dancers Angha Anand and Rakshita who perform more in Bengaluru.
Later that day, there will be a Carnatic and Hindustani jugalbandi concert by Shri Jairam who is a banker by profession but musician at heart. He will be accompanied by Srinivas on the mridangam and Ram Khadse on tabla.
