Finally, the potholes and uneven sections of Thiruvengadam Street in Mandaveli are getting some attention.
Workers contracted by GCC and Chennai Metro have begun doing ‘patchwork’ in this busy street, which is a key route for traffic diverted from the Adyar – R A Puram side to Mandaveli and Mylapore due to Chennai Metro project work.
As of yesterday, repairs of some portions of the street has been completed
We are told that the rest of the work in adjoining areas is to be done this week.
