Members of a political party erected a large flex banner on a busy pavement at the junction of Venkatesa Agraharam Road and R. K. Mutt Road.
Local GCC officials are still to pull it down as they should because this is a busy junction. This is the point where MTC buses, vans, cars and bikes turn from the main road into the Agraharam road, a diversion path created long ago due to Chennai Metro work at Luz Circle.
The banner also obstructs pedestrians who are now forced on to the busy road.
