How to avoid online frauds and temptations: theme of talk. Nov.30

What must you do when you receive a WhatsApp message claiming to be from your local bank?  How must you react when a phone caller seeks help for Rs.10,000 on behalf of a relative or family member who the caller claims has been injured in an accident? Must you press on an online link that promises you quick loans?
These and other issues will be talked about at a Cyber Crime Awareness Program to be hosted by The Kalyana Nagar Association on Nov.30 evening ( 6.30 p.m. onwards).
Speaking on this subject is V. Kapaleewaran, former president of Cyber Society of India and cyber safety educator. He has handled lots of cases where people have been cheated or trapped in online frauds which take place daily.
