Vimala Sivaraman, former physical education teacher at Vidya Mandir school, Luz passed away on November 27. She was 90.
Fondly remembered as ‘Vimala Miss’ by the alumni students and retired teachers of Vidya Mandir, she had worked as a PT teacher for 25 years.
A kind and generous woman who remained as a role model for her neighbours and family, Vimala maintained an active lifestyle throughout her life. Even in her late 80s, her dedication towards her morning walks and attention to her daily chores earned much admiration from people around her.
Her gentle smile and positive inspiring words will be missed by all those who know her, said Subha Dilip who knew her well.
She is survived by her husband Sivaraman and two daughters, Chithra Ramesh and Jayashree Chandran.
