Stray cattle roam freely on Mada Streets

Stray cattle continue to own some Mylapore streets. And there is no sign of GCC officials of the area taking action.

One zone where cattle are seen roaming is South Mada Street.

Every day, from 5.30 a.m. onwards, one can spot three or four cows/buffaloes on the street, looking for vegetable waste left by the wayside by the local hawkers.

This Friday morning, cattle ripped the plastic covers of two vegetable hawker stalls located alongside Solar House and fed on the vegetables stored here by the hawkers.

The cattle are also seen in the evenings on this street. They pose a danger to seniors who are here to shop for vegetables and home needs.

Stray dogs also roam this Mada Street.
