Part windy, part rainy evening is what Mylapore experienced on Saturday, November 29 even as the Met Office updated its bulletins on Cyclone Ditwah, saying that cyclonic weather would batter north Tamil Nadu on Sunday.
The rain was intermittent, often just drizzles across Mylapore and there were no signs of water logging on a serious scale.
But potholed roads / streets showed up – as in places like Mandaveli Street and Thiruvengadam Street.
Hawkers on the Mada Streets remained at their posts, many sheltering under large umbrellas used to promote consumer brans.
