Writing workshop for teens, adults. By author Praveena Shivram

City-based author, Praveena Shivram, is holding a paid writing workshop that ‘looks at words through the senses, making the experience deeply personal and completely free from performance pressure’.

For eight hours across two weekends this month, participants will read, write and share, bringing to light the human potential (non-AI version!) and the power of telling stories in imaginative ways that puts joy back into the act of writing.

Said Praveena: “This workshop is for people who would like to make words your ally, and if you would like to explore how far the boundaries of meaning run and the endless capacity of words to bring community and connection.”

Praveena Shivram has been an independent writer for over two decades. Both her fiction and non-fiction have been widely published.

This workshop is open to both adults and young adults, aged 14 and above. November 8, 9, 15 and 16. It is to be held at Ranade Library, Luz ( the Srinivasa Sastri Hall campus, near Amrutanjan) from 3 pm to 5 pm.
