As part of Sundaram Finance Mylapore Festival 2026, Sundaram Finance will be conducting the 16th chess tournament on January 10 and 11, 2026 from 8 am to 10.30 am at Lady Sivaswamy Ayyar Girls School, Mylapore.
The tournament will be held for children in the under 8, 10, and 12-year categories respectively. Those interested in participating can register by sending the child’s name and date of birth, the parent’s name and phone number to 89259 90382

Two art / craft workshops for children are also being held. One on Paper Quilling will be held on January 10, 2026 at Lady Sivaswamy Ayyar Girls School Mylapore, 8 am to 10 am.
A workshop on pot painting will be held on January 11, 2026 at the same venue.
All materials will be provided for these free workshops. The workshop is restricted to 25 children on a first come basis and for the age group between 8 to 12 years.
