Rainwater is flowing in from all sides into the tank of Sri Kapali Temple in Mylapore since late Saturday when the cyclonic weather and rain hit the city.
There is an appreciable increase in the water level in the tank which had water drains linking the area outside the tank to the inside.
A few birds are also seen on the steps of the tank.
Not long ago, the tank was almost bone dry and the HR & CE department arranged for Metrowater to pump in water into the tank.
