A cultural event which will highlight Subramania Bharathi’s Kannamma songs will be held on December 11 in R. A. Puram.
It is curated by Paanchajanya’s Nrithya Jagannathan ( a Bharatanatyam dancer and expert in yoga therapy and Indian Knowledge systems and by Sangeetha Prabakaran ( she has a background in life sciences research and in IT consulting)
The event is titled “Konjam Sweet, Konjam Kaaram, Konjum Kannamma”.
Vocalist Brindha Manickavasakan and Jayanthi Iyengar will bring alive Bharathi’s Kannamma, through music and poetry.
The venue: Tamilnadu Eyal Isai Nataka Mandiram lawns in R. A. Puram. 5 pm onwards. ( Address – ‘Thendral’, No.31, Greenways Road )

Paanchajanya’s collaborators say that their events ‘weave together Indian art, literature, aesthetics, philosophy, ecology, heritage, health science and spirituality through textual study, curated experiences, immersive retreats and thematic concerts and workshops.
