An exhibition of theme-based quilts presented by Quilt India Foundation (QIF) has opened on Friday at Sri Sankara Hall, TTK Road, Alwarpet ; it is on from January 23 to 26. The show is open to all.
‘Reflect’ is the theme for the show and this collection of quilts is part of the annual challenge organised by The Square Inch, India’s first quilting studio based in Chennai.
An eight-fabric bundle was given to registrants [82]. The challenge was to make an art quilt on the theme ‘Reflect’ with at least 50% of the surface area being created with the given fabrics.
