The annual get-together of the former and retired staff of Indian Bank’s Mylapore branch was held on 26th January 26 at a private hall in Mylapore.
The group meets every year in January and has done so for about 20 years.
This year, 50 persons participated and many recollected their memories of working at this branch of the bank, said S. Shankaranarayanan, a member who resides on Solaiappan Street, Mylapore.
A member who has completed 80 years was honoured. Another who learnt the skills of drawing after retirement displayed his drawings at the venue.
