The junior wing of Chettinad Vidyashram school celebrated its 40th Annual Day on January 30 with a thematic cultural presentation titled “Kanchi Javanika – Kanchi Temples, Tradition and Tapestry.”
The school’s annual report was read by the principal, Dr. Amudhalakshmi.
Then unfolded the production, presenting the rich tapestry of Kanchipuram’s spiritual and cultural legacy. Performances which were themed as Sri Paramacharya Vaibhavam, Aparajitha Vaibhavam, and Divyabodha Vaibhavam depicted the philosophical and devotional essence of the sacred town.
Dance dramas and plays themed Varutri Vaibhavam, Devaraja Vaibhavam, and Alekha Vaibhavam showcased temple traditions and craftsmanship.
The production had elements of the contemporary and of fusion while the English and Hindi segments reflected linguistic diversity.

A. Manimaran, I.R.S., Commissioner of Customs (Export), Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, ministry of finance, was the chief guest and he distributed prizes to the students.
