Residents of Rani Meyammai Towers in MRC Nagar enjoyed a socio-cultural event titled RMT Extravaganza which was held over two nights at the campus.
The event blended fashion with community events.
In the fashion show, children strutted with confidence, women shimmered in Indo-Western fusion – conceptualised and trained by Iris Events and men owned the catwalk, wearing Indian Terrain outfits.
Residents — young and senior — volunteered, practiced, designed, danced, sang, and walked on the ramp. Cultural shows spanned folk dances, mod choreography, musical medleys, and dramatic skits.
The evenings hosted some eminent people too as dignitaries: writer Sivashankari, Sivashankaran, founder of Aircel & AIWO and Anu Alex, cultural ambassador.
