Last week, the state’s chief minister, M. K. Stalin formally renamed the De Monte Street as M. S. Viswanathan Street in San Thome in a video conference function.
MSV, as the world famous music director was called fondly ( some called him Mellisai Mannar too), has a huge number of fans around the world
Since the renaming event, everyday, a number of visitors especially MSV fans have been visiting the street
and shooting photos of the street name signboard and selfies too.
This street is always a busy one since it leads to a thickly inhabited area that leads to the Marina side. But the signboard corner is now the attraction for many people.
