A special Savings Camp is being organised at Mylapore Head Post Office (HPO) on Kutchery Road on all week days from March 1 onwards upto March 31 to facilitate people to invest in PO tax savings scheme..
A dedicated team of four officials are arranged for this service at the Mylapore HPO, said L. Suresh Babu
postmaster.
The options on offer are National Savings Certificate, Public Provident Fund, Sukanya Samkrithi Account, Time Deposits and Postal Life insurance among others.
Suresh Babu said that the investment plans help to save upto Rs.1.5 lakhs for income tax deduction.
