The newly constructed Jawahar Bal Bhavan on Luz Avenue was formally opened this past week.
State health minister Ma. Subramaniam, South Chennai MP, Thamizhichi Thangapandian, Mylapore MLA Dha Velu and local area councillor Saraswathi Mohan took part in this event.
The facility allows a continuation of extra curricular activities provided to children, mainly those who study in state-run or aided schools.
Folk and classical dances, music, silambam, art and crafts and such activities are offered here.
This place is located opposite Ragha Sudha hall.
