P. S. Senior Secondary School, Mylapore, Chennai, as part of its ongoing golden jubilee celebrations is presenting the bio-play of well-known Carnatic music icon, late M.S. Subbulakshmi, on February13, in association with
Narada Gana Sabha, Alwarpet.
This play is an improved version of the 2025 play with live audio and visuals on LED backdrop and is one of the signature productions of thRee Entertains, a drama troupe that has half a dozen plays to its credit.
Lavanya Venugopal, who performs the role of M. S. Subbulakshmi is also the director of the play. She and M. V. Bhaskar, another familiar figure in Tamil theatre form the core of this production.
Carnatic music vocalist Gayathri Venkatraghavan is singing the popular songs of M. S. Subbulakshmi in the play.
