Thiyagaraja Sangeetha Vidwath Samajam, Mylapore honoured five senior artistes on the occasion of Thyagaraja jayanthi celebration on April 24.
The guests at this event were Dr. T. V. Gopalakrishnan, president of samajam and V. V. Sundaram, arts promoter.
The Sangeetha Seva Nirata awardees were: Yogam Santhanam, Visalur Gurumurthi, Dr. K. R. Ganesh, Dr. Suresh Vaidyanathan
and Mullaivasal Dr. G. Chandra mouli.
