Mahratta Education Fund hosted Chaitra gowri puja at its premises on TTK Road, Alwarpet.
The significance of this event is this – Gowri( the goddess) is considered as a daughter who is in the family way and is visiting her mother for a month.
The puja is for her; devotees offer her tender coconut, lime juice and different delicacies.
