Bungalows for state ministers located off Greenways Road in R. A. Puram have been officially allotted.
This morning, all of them wore a new bright look, as did the gates. The name boards are to be fixed.
But the ministers have not yet moved in.
Some bungalows here date to the colonial era when the British moved far south outside Fort St George and found the plots alongside the Adyar river a cool place to reside and have space for leisure.
