The Urban Primary Health Centre in Mandaveli’s R K Nagar had extended the facility
for the Cervical Cancer Prevention Vaccination programme for some more time
as the response for this has been good and steady.
Girls in the age of 14-15 years are eligible for the vaccination; it is provided free of cost
This is one of the initiative of the Health department of the state.
Also, inspite of the sweltering heat, no cases of smallpox has been reported , said the senior nurse Jayanthi.
The Primary Health Centre is on Second Cross Street , R K Nagar, R A Puram.
