Residents of South Mada Street are complaining about sewage overflow from an outlet close to Krishna Park Lodge located on the Chitrakulam – Mada Street junction in Mylapore.
V. Vasudevan has written to say that – untreated sewage water from the entrance to this lodge is continuously flowing out onto the street and stagnating on the road.
He says that this sewage water creates a direct risk of waterborne diseases and affects movement of people in what is a busy shoping and temple zone.
He says that this has created an unhygienic condition and wants Metrowater’s local unit engineers to address it.
