Chennai Metro: new, temporary pathway created at Luz Circle

Traffic flow from Royapettah High Road to Luz Church Road is now routed to a newly created pathway due to Chennai Metro work at Luz Circle, which is to be a major rail intersection.

Buses, cars, and two-wheelers on the R. H. Road side will now take a pathway that curves alongside the string of shops ( now shut down) from Nehru News Mart end to Sukha Nivas and The Mylapore Club end, to drive into Luz Church Road.

Previously, vehicles used a pathway alongside the Navashakthi Vinayaka Temple.

The pathway remains ‘one way’.
