Little Monks’ Laboratory is an After-School centre in MRC Nagar where children aged 6 to 14 learn coding, robotics and electronics.
Admission to new batches are to start in October
This centre was founded in 2020 by Divya Gopinath, a resident of MRC Nagar. ( photo below)
Its approach is built on a “maker mindset”: children design and build their own projects rather than just following step-by-step instructions. The centre has developed its own electronics learning board, Logic Links Sensors kit, which lets children build without messy wiring.
The venture was incubated at NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore, and was among the top 10 recipients of the Kotak Mahindra grant for women entrepreneurs in March 2026.
This year, two students from the centre reached the national round of the World Robotics Olympiad with Mitra, a robot that dispenses medicine for elderly users.
