Residents of an apartment in North First Street, Mandaveli were on their toes some days ago when the woman who doubles up as watch-woman and helper went ‘missing’.
Neela has been working in this apartment for over 20 years and resides closeby. She had stepped out to have a cup of tea and did not return till the late hours.
The residents were upset and quickly out out a ‘Missing’ note on social media. But late that day, a person brought Neela to the place where she is employed.
“She may have just blanked out,” said one resident.
The residents have now given her an ID card – just to play it safe.
