This is the final call for two Navaratri season contests that Mylapore Times has organised for this festival season.
The annual Kolu Contest is open to families who reside in the Mylapore zone. This year, the judge for the kolu contest will look closely at the central kolu as well as the theme sets around it. Creative designs and decorations around the kolu will earn extra points.
The second contest is the Colouring Contest for children of this area. Already, 26 children have picked up their sheets. The colouring sheet, to be collected from Mylapore Times office, allows children to imagine and illustrate a festival setting. Artsheets which display minute details, show streaks of imagination and are well coloured will earn extra points.
Details of both contests are in the Mylapore Times adverts featured in this issue of the newspaper. The adverts for the contest are posted online – www.mylaporetimes.com
