The ever busy Nageswara Rao Park in Mylapore recently witnessed the re-union of the 1979 batch of P. S. High School, Mylapore.
Though only 10 members of the 70-plus class of ’79 met, it was a warm, cheerful meet.
Most present were meeting each other after 30 years so it was time to talk about the “good old school days” and go down memory lane. As Ashok who had organised the re-union said, “all of us became school boys again.”
The meet was a long planned and eagerly awaited evening. Ashok said this is just the beginning; he hopes to bring the whole batch together. The group also plans to give back to the school by funding deserving students. It was a decision they took as the memorable meet came to an end in the park.
