Kaveri Coffee, a wholesaler and retailer in the coffee and spices business is studying the response to its recent novel product – packaged filter coffee decoction.
From its store in Alwarpet, promoter Anush has been selling this option to Mylaporeans who are rather finicky when it comes to coffee.
Anush says that the decoction is made in a large quantity early every morning and processed at his place. It is ten packaged into zip-log pouches. As of now, they offer 200ml packs that are priced at Rs.25.
This can make 8 cups of regular coffee. The shelf-life of a pack is 4 days and Anush says that the product suits office-goers who have little time to go through the ritual of making decoction the traditional way.
The product is available at all Nilgiris sores, Amma Nanna store near Hotel Park Sheraton and at Kaveri Coffee at 5, Alwarpet Street, Alwarpet. Contact number – 2436 0426, 2466 0426.
