ABHAI (Association of Bharatanatyam Artistes of India) is organising a seminar on “Socio-Economic Issues of Dancers, Then and Now”, on Saturday 28th April 2012 at the Mini Hall of the Narada Gana Sabha. It is a celebration of World Dance Day.
The seminar will be inaugurated at 10 a.m. by Leela Samson, Chairperson, Sangeet Natak Akademi and Director of the Kalakshetra Foundation. The proceedings will be moderated by Dr. Pappu Venugopala Rao, Secretary, The Music Academy. Eminent speakers, critics, dancers and organisers will be participating in this day-long pathbreaking seminar.
