Four teachers from St. Raphael’s Girls Higher Sec. School, San Thome retired last academic year. A special farewell function was organised for them at the school premises.
The four teacher are A. Mary Leelal, a Tamil teacher here. She has been teaching here for 33 years. She is a resident of Mylapore.
S. Jesu Thom Benjamin has been a teaching here for 24 years. She taught Maths.
C. Jeymary taught Biology for senior students here. She had been teaching here for 33 years.
S. Gnanapragasi was another Tamil teacher here. She has been in this school for 20 years. She too is a resident of Mylapore.
