Metrowater organised an Open House on August 11. About 10 residents attended this meeting, held at the Zonal office (9) in Dr. Ranga Road.
Present for the meeting were Head Superintendent Engineer from the Metrowater head office and Area Engineer.
The key problem that was raised was on water shortage, says the Area Engineer.
“We have checked the valves and the entire network and rectified this problem,” he says.
He also stated that this Zone is a no pollution zone.
“This is one area where we have made sure that sewage water does not mix with potable water,” he added.
Metrowater is organising Open House meets every second Saturday of the month. Residents can attend this meeting and raise their queries and file complaints.
