A Navarathri dance festival has been organised by Rasika Ranjani Sabha from Oct 3 – 11. The chief guest R. S. Ramanathan, Judge, High Court, will confer the title of Nrithya Kala Ratna on Prof. C. V. Chandrasekhar. This will be followed by a dance performance by Kauvya Priya – disciple of Meenakshi Chitranjan.
Other events include performances by S. Sivasri – disciple of Roja Kannan on Oct 5, Harini Jeevitha – disciple of Sheela Unnikrishnan on Oct 6, Sharmada Visvanathan – disciple of Chitra Visweswaran on Oct 9 and Apoorva Jayaraman – disciple of Priyadarshini Govind on Oct 11.
