German, local artists start painting on public walls

Goethe Institute, Chennai is hosting a group of artists who specialize in street art in a  Street Art Project that is on in the city. The German artists are joining hands with artist groups and cinema and road sign painters to design their art in some public places in the city.

These spots include the MRTS station of Greenaays Road, wall alongside Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and a Corporation School in V P Koil Street.

Work is on at the MRTS station and if you are inclined, you too can lend a hand and paint the wall at this spot.

Artist Muralidharan A and his colleague will start work on the wall along the BVB complex on East Mada Street on January 29 and work on it for 3 days.

The duo working here invite students and others to join them in this art project.
