Staff members of Vijayganga Speciality Care (VGSC), Mylapore distributed a glass of water and pamphlets to the people at Nageshwara Rao Park, Luz to remind them to take care of their kidneys on World Kidney Day (Mar 12).
An educational programme was also held at the hospital premises and free labs including blood sugar, urea, creatinine and urine routine were conducted for patients. Basic information on hypertension, diabetes and kidney diseases and their prevention was also provided. An interaction session was held with diabetologist Dr. Nallaperumal and hypertension and kidney specialist Dr. Sarita.
