TN Eyal Isai Nataka Manram’s Natya – Nataka Kondattam will be held from Mar 31 – Apr 2. The festival will premier three natya – natakams presented by young choreographers and gurus and will be based on Tamil literature.
The dance dramas selected by an expert committee are ‘Kamban Kaniamudu’ by R. Vijay Madhavan’s Rechita Nrutyalaya to be held on Mar 31, ‘Pallaandu Paadiya Pattarpiraan’ by Meenakshi Sagar’s Aradhana School of Dance on April 1 and ‘Bharati Kanda Bhaaradam’ by Sasirekha Raammohan’s Kanagasabai School of Bharatanatyam on April 2.
These productions have received a seed grant of Rs. 50000 each from the Govt. of TN. All events will be held at the Manram’s premises at 31, Ponni, P. S. Kumarasamy Raja Salai, R. A. Puram at 6.45 p.m. everyday. All are welcome.
