Sri Ramanujar’s 1000th birth anniversary; Celebration at local school
On Thursday, April 20, a few students of Sivaswami Kalalaya Senior Secondary School, Mylapore got together for an event to honour Sri Ramanujar on his 1000 birth anniversary.
Speeches were given in three languages – Tamil, Hindi and English, Sanskrit slokas were recited, songs were sung and a dance was performed.
The school is located at 5, Sundareswarar Street, Mylapore.
